Pope's Speech

The last part of the speech that tells about the whole speech is paragraph seventeen saying "refugee crisis of a magnitude... Let us remember the Golden Rule." Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" it is explaining that Americans should not think less of immigrants which they to are people, who share humanity and want what's best for there children. By encouraging every religious in situation to offer sanctuary to a migrant family which he is asking American lawmakers to see plight of migrants as a humanitarian issue. But mainly everyone should be treated equal no matter if there poor, rich, old, or young, everyone is human and is not perfect.
Stephen Dinan of "The Washington Times" phrases the Popes comments about the Golden Rule. Stephen Dinan is supporting the Golden Rule by agreeing to the Pope when he said "the peoples problems is our problem." It really is the Pope and priest and the high society's problem because the people ask for their help. Also when the Pope says "I hope the president will take heed to the Pope's words" so the president can listen to what is happening in the world and actually want to stop all the madness and torture. The Pope also says "I am convinced that we can make a difference", Stephen thinks that it is possible for that can to happen.
Another thing that stood out about the Pope's speech would be in paragraph four when he says "the many thousands of men and women who strive each day to do an honest day's work, to bring home their daily bread, to save money and - one step at a time-to build a better life for the9r families" which Francis is talking about poor people and poor countries and having jobs and saving money and also God can be among the -face of the poor so he is talking about Middle Class and to help the ones "in need" for the help.
