Saunders' Speech Argument

Saunders is arguing about regret missed moments of kindness and a chance to  make things greater just by testing the waters. Saunders in one part of his story talks about not helping someone who was in need of help but he was mild and regretted not helping them.
Saunders is effective and very successful in writing this speech for the fact that he tells about a moments were he could have assisted that person but he didn't. Also when Saunders talks about how each of us is born with built-in confusions that somehow show Darwinian meaning the evolution of species by natural selection. By regretting things that people can be prevented from being in danger or making a wrong choice that could affect not only them but those around them, not everyone is perfect it's just sometimes the right thing to do is offer help to those in need of it or look like they need the help. Just know that if you have a dream or a chance to do what you like or just anything in general do it, don't let your dreams be dreams, just do it.
The small story of Saunders airplane experience possibly inspire the speech is that no matter if your scared there will always be someone there to help you not be scared and be kind to you. By telling the 14 year old boy that everything was going to be O.K. the boy would act calm. The man sitting by the boy reached out to a woman that was sitting across the isle and the man held her hand to feel comfort while freaking a little out. The speech was inspiring because the man told the boy that everything was going to be O.K. which the man helped the boy feel not as frightened as he would have been.

Lying

Human intelligence was easily apparent and obvious when someone would be lying, whether from speech impediment or body language. Whether or not this would be a good thing or bad thing, the choice has always been up to us to decide, for good or for worse. Regardless, this doesn't change the fact that lying has become socially unacceptable.
For one to give the truth but not the whole truth, this would still be lying. Leaving out a cog in the machine will still produce an unworking mechanism. Thusly the machine is absolutely imperative that one must provide every detail. This is why in court you're sworn by an oath that you're abiding to give the truth, the WHOLE truth, and nothing but the truth.
Honesty would be the best policy, no one can deny this. The worst part about being caught in the act would be the consequences or the pain that can be dealt onto others. And nothing hurts more than the embarrassment and shame that you have to deal with, not to mention in somme cases the loss of friendship. Above all things, stay true to yourself. People in general cannot live a life in denial, at least not without being who those people were born and or by feeling any guilt. LIfe can be a rough road, and that road could get hard sometimes, but just remember, their is a rainbow at the end of every storm. Love who yourself is and speak the truth, be honest to yourself and others like everybody else should do the same.

Pope's Speech

The last part of the speech that tells about the whole speech is paragraph seventeen saying "refugee crisis of a magnitude... Let us remember the Golden Rule." Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" it is explaining that Americans should not think less of immigrants which they to are people, who share humanity and want what's best for there children. By encouraging every religious in situation to offer sanctuary to a migrant family which he is asking American lawmakers to see plight of migrants as a humanitarian issue. But mainly everyone should be treated equal no matter if there poor, rich, old, or young, everyone is human and is not perfect.
Stephen Dinan of "The Washington Times" phrases the Popes comments about the Golden Rule. Stephen Dinan is supporting the Golden Rule by agreeing to the Pope when he said "the peoples problems is our problem." It really is the Pope and priest and the high society's problem because the people ask for their help. Also when the Pope says "I hope the president will take heed to the Pope's words" so the president can listen to what is happening in the world and actually want to stop all the madness and torture. The Pope also says "I am convinced that we can make a difference", Stephen thinks that it is possible for that can to happen.
Another thing that stood out about the Pope's speech would be in paragraph four when he says "the many thousands of men and women who strive each day to do an honest day's work, to bring home their daily bread, to save money and - one step at a time-to build a better life for the9r families" which Francis is talking about poor people and poor countries and having jobs and saving money and also God can be among the -face of the poor so he is talking about Middle Class and to help the ones "in need" for the help.
